Now that we have defined belief and knowledge, let us explore the incohesion of self which makes belief more false, sickens us, and decimates our ability to understand phenomena internal and external. It has to do with fear and ignorance. If belief is the sum of the organism’s acute and chronic reactions, then it is the same as the character structure conceived of by orgonomy. Character structure is the complete libido-economic picture of the organism, and we seek to examine its disproportionate, inefficient reactions and its internal hostilities. Undoubtedly, it includes the whole brain-body, its sense organs, and the feedback loops of perception-adaptation. In fact, the muscular system plays an integral role, chronically bracing us against the surfacing of ever-present repressed psychic content, exactly to the extent we harbor such content. I should add that what Reich conceived of as muscle armoring surely includes the fascia, which can become rigid, and supplies the central nervous system with even more sensory fibers than does the skin. It surely includes the brain and its 100 billion neurons, its 100 trillion synapses, the spine, the heart and its nervous system, the autonomic nervous system, and the whole organism, and he would continue to discover armoring in society at large, later in deserts, the Earth’s atmosphere, and so on with interesting results. When he told the psychoanalysts, their professionalism vanished and they began to play mean-spirited tricks on him. What choice did they have? Then the Third Reich arose, that obliterating phenomenon which so few understood!
Anyway, complimenting that these chronic acts of contraction brace us against the repressed surfacing, when the muscle is artificially lengthened with the therapeutic application of pressure, the repressed can surface in the form of a cathartic emotional outburst. Local systems of contractions have specific meanings, repress certain emotions and reactions, and cause other health complications such as hypoxia. Total systemic contraction is a general, biophysical no-saying to life, and is thought to cause cancer, in which rogue desiring-machinic polities secede from the body amidst the breakdown of cohesion in the absence of any unifying raison d’être. All these reactions, done unconsciously, are thus expressions of ignorance because they are both disproportionate (in extent, in duration, in quality, &c.), and, necessarily, injurious to health, as these are the same thing.
The name ‘armoring’ was chosen because muscle armoring is like a suit of armor with defensive function and physical hardness. We will now describe its formation. It is adopted in childhood as an adaptation to the pre-existing social order. Impulses, reactions to one’s internal milieu, manifest as a child’s expressions. These may inspire their caretakers to terrify them such that they no longer manifest. Here we have two streams of cathexis, Besetzung, contributing to the overall excitement of the brain, one with internal origin and the other with external origin. It is the terrifying discipline of the father, for our purposes, which sums with the internal excitement (presumably as excitatory post-synaptic potentials), resulting in an overwhelming emotional state and the triggering of a startle reflex, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, the sympathetic nervous system, what have you. Later we will discuss an alternative to this practice, but for now understand that associations are made between proportioned, natural reaction and being destroyed. This is the belief we express with our bodies, and indeed, our unconditioned state was killed. That is all well and good – I want to establish the World to Come, not Never Never Land – but the problem is the cathexes or beliefs inherited from the father are false when they work against the health of the Son, as they almost always do.
There is a superior wisdom originating in the conserved, common, unconditioned, unspecialized, uneducated human brain-body, which we seek to consult through this Science of exhumation. Unlike these parents and teachers, we assume a legitimacy to its reactions and impart inherited worldly knowledge to children, while they hold that if they don’t attack it, the children will be unequipped for life. The senility of their position is as staggering as it is demonic. The opposite is true, and while this may be given as a justification, the belief really being expressed by these so-called caretakers is represented linguistically by: “if I ever dared react in an innocent, cathartic way, I would be destroyed, and to witness this innocence terrifies me to no end because, juxtaposed against my corruption, it shows me how bent and ill I’ve become, and shines a light on the immense darkness I harbor – but I could regain my relative innocence if the child embodied the same corruption as I do! This little shit has no substance (numbness), no experience or credentials – that’s what matters in this world – and now it dare threaten to expose me? Might makes right, so I’ll completely deny the legitimacy of the child’s present condition and destroy it as my parents did to me and theirs to them from time immemorial. Hey! What do you think you’re doing?” And so the emotional plague is generationally transmitted.
A word on the neurophysiology of this phenomenon. Any bodily belief expression must correspond to a time-varied neuromuscular tone. I believe that when we see a body, we have a tendency to copy what it is doing or at least begin to embody the excitation events which establish such tone and consequent outward expression, which possibly involves the so-called mirror neurons. This can be called com-passion and friendliness of the parts or friendliness between individuals in a group. However, if we see a body embodying pain, our tendency is to become hostile to that body and differentiate ourselves from it through, literally, dis-like. The superior, finely-tuned option is to dislike their painful qualia, and not their whole being (by taking time to speculate on its cause) though as long as we behold their expression of sickness, our ease is being corroded. But those who’ve had their values inverted by the emotional plague dis-like a body in a state of innocence, naturalness, and proportion, because as they begin to behold and empathize with it, their association of this condition with destruction is inflamed, and they feel pain and fear. Usually, they wholly discount that person and only change their opinion if appeased, which would be a great injustice.
Originating in the womb, we begin post-natal life as non-distinct beings accustomed to receiving and growing. Life in the womb, characterized by effortless nutrient assimilation and constant rocking from our mothers’ breath, colors the rest of our existence like the prelude to Das Rheingold, providing not only our bodies but their parasympathetic, basal energy metabolism that all other action draws from. All other actions are countercathexes with respect to it. In other words, it is the default state of the body, only now it entails our consuming our own stores. However, we have not yet found a way to sustain both ourselves and that effortlessness, so we procure things. As we said in our discussion of epistemology, these actions, these countercathexes over parasympatheticonia, can be more or less proportionate, more or less demonstrative of an organism understanding a situation, which includes its self. From this we can see all-too-vividly that most people know almost nothing of what is happening nor of who and what they are. We react to our internal milieux with violence and excess, hardening ourselves to experience, destroying ourselves in our attempts to preserve ourselves. Worst of all, we teach our children that these acts are necessary and that the world can only be navigated by adopting these unnuanced armoring structures. Far, far less is needed and you should “consider the birds of the field.”
Reich found that character structure is composed of many layers which are like geologic strata, extending from past to present, profound to superficial. This layeredness is a consequence of repeated failures in the realm of catharsis. When we, as children, associate natural spontaneity and unarmored, soft, proportionate life with destruction, we are forced to metabolize our excitement in other suboptimal, incomplete ways, to wit, countercathexes. As described above, the most cathartic, proportionate reactions to internal milieu or inspiration are forbidden and interrupted by acts of aggression from the caretakers. The cause of your spontaneous action was excitation, which would have been resolved by the movement this neural tonus would create through the motor nervous system, but it summed with excitation from beholding the aggression. Now not only does the original cathexes remain unresolved; there is a new quantity of excitement that must be metabolized, and in such situations, the most cathartic reaction would seem to be the startle reflex, the fear response, which forces us to freeze and assess the situation with alarm. Now the organism must deal with the cathexis animating the expression of fear, as fearing itself, mysteriously, is not sufficient to bring about a denouement. Practically, enough of the fear’s causes must disappear from perception – or from our interiority – to resolve the tension, and our options are, as my beloved niece says, “fight, flight, or fawn.”
Most often, the fawning or supplication is chosen, and for good reason; the parents’ overreaction is a macabre distortion of natural education. I believe children naturally trust their parents, meaning the boundary of identity between them remains more fluid until ossified by betrayals and hostilities. Merely beholding the parent inspires them to be like them and inherit the protocols of human life, such as fully committing to marriage later. In other words, it is automatic; children love to learn how the world works and want to know everything, like I do. When the parents are alarmed by something, the children should be too – unless it’s their own life! An adult should be better than a child after years of cultivation, but when they are even less advanced than the unconditioned, having gone backwards, when the sum of their libido investments generates mainly misery, the human “inflation,” mentioned by Jeffrey Epstein in his interview with Steve Bannon, then the child naturally has no desire to be like the parent, and tyranny must be employed to get them to display the outward facade of sociability. Then it will be cathartic for them to make fools or whores of themselves later.
By condoning their parents’ reproachment of their unbent state, their nature, they must necessarily disavow it – but natures cannot be truly disavowed. Instead, the personality splits, broken on the Stone – true metaphysics. One part is called good and apes the person that is acceptable to the parents and armored, viscous society. The other is the anti-social repressed, the pit of putrefied, once legitimate impulses that have taken on overcharged, mocking, sadistic qualia: the unconscious, a free money tap for our mentally ill psychologists! I’d be a psychologist too if I knew so little about the mind. Anyway, this is said to be bad, and we feel we have the right to let it out on those who deal with us unfairly (though our disavowal of essential nature precludes us from judging fairness). Also someone who has a smattering of vitality is said to be a ‘bad boy’ or a ‘baddie,’ and our women, as they say on Reddit, “ride the cock carousel” through their twenties before settling down in a higher, “spiritual” union with a beta male, as it were, who “did everything right,” whom they resent for finally buying them right before their “biological clock runs out,” and they “hit the wall.” But we who are orgastically potent are the true sigmas because, I hate to break it to you, there is no spiritual. We are not averse to the self-evident supremacy of sexual pleasure in the field of experience because, through sufficient discovery of the unconscious, enlightenment, the contingencies of armored sexuality, such as those relating it to disrespect, transactionality, mockery, fetishism, &c., lust, in a word, are severed. The celibate and the settler do not know this is possible because they have not looked inwardly in a profitable, fidelitous manner. My writings have shown the way with sufficient clarity, though they are still a cryptogram for those who deny the greatness of their author, Frater S.Z.! Elements from the conscious and the unconscious are both valuable, but don’t go thinking they can be selected and mixed like pigments. Only by restoring the natural, proportionate function of the libidinal economy can the deviations which we have become reunite with essence, like the birthright-stealing Jacob being forgiven by Esau in Genesis 33. You keep trying to force it out and embody something to negate that you don’t embody it, but any attribute worth having is in one’s nature, so it is only a matter of not doing, not investing libido in countercathexes, which by now has become far more difficult. Virtue is about what you don’t do, not your superfluous, self-aggrandizing phármakon careers and toilet-paper diplomas.
But before we can discuss remedies further, there are a few more things to say on the true Original Sin. This unconscious I have just described, a sort of Freudian id, is not the most fundamental layer of being, else we could not advocate for catharsis so easily. It is merely the reverse or underside of the facade which we strain to uphold. So the apparent slutty, bad nature, that is repressed, which women actually indicate to you, hoping that you capitalize on it so they can brand you as bad also, is not a nature at all, but a contingency-laden distortion of the potential to have unarmored sexuality: orgastic potency, which is just knowing right from wrong. This distortion draws on the natural desire of a girl to grow up and become womanly and fall in love with a man, have children, and advance humanity, a desire which good families preserve in their daughters. But the daughters of these last women, these Karens, incur the incest-paranoid ire of their mothers, who are jealous of their youth and vitality; the daughters pityingly – like Longinus – corrupt themselves to resolve the Elektra conflict, in many cases spawning the hypersexual subpersonality and its degenerate ideation. Shall I go on? The outcome of the bad mother winning, which the daughter (who is better) designs to effect in order to survive the constant stress inflicted on her, is achieved by her dual countercathexis into auto-elektrafication and then guilt, which subsume the potentiality that would signify fertility and receptivity in an adult woman, but is simply the nature of children in general and the driver of their anabolic metabolism. When you serve the Grail, you have to know these things. Being orgastically potent myself, I see the ideal in women, always advocating for their higher selves initially, like Lohengrin does for Elsa, which they have totally given up on. But, being of a lower class, they feel I am mocking them and, like Kundry, they mock me in return, still feigning authority when they are hopelessly lost, at which point I have to tear them asunder before they me. When the pure pity the corrupt and help them hide their corruption, the ages decay – until they are reset by global, double cataclysms, set off by the Messiah assuming the solar type of Samson.
All the countercathexes of armoring are adopted to look small and bent. That is what puts our parents at ease and relieves their alarm. That’s why it’s so important for women to be orgastically potent: so they don’t develop irrational jealousy and Elektrafy their daughters, and the same goes for men. Children don’t want to have incestuous relations. Decrepit, inauthentic, orgastically impotent adults make their children as they are. In industrial societies, people can afford to – and very often – become so deranged that they see their same-sexed children as sexual rivals or develop attraction to their opposite sexed children. This is nearly universal, but most of what we do – all the inefficiencies, redundancies, unnecessities – is to hide it. Only their secondary purposes are ever mentioned. These people are so decrepit and ignorant about life’s function, they don’t register that the vitality of life is common to both adult sexuality and the growth of their offspring. Their minds are so unhygienic and subsequently so unnuanced, they don’t differentiate between the two, acting with aggression before they even know what they’re beholding, these technology-assisted animals who still think they’re human. Stranger still, they are ruled by pedophiles. Surely, this is related. You probably shouldn’t even have children if you’re not orgastically potent. It’s a hypocrisy to have them when you hate life.
Psychoanalysis deductively, syllogistically proceeds from an axiomatic model of man. The model is wrong; the premises are incorrect but the argument is valid so the patient must play the role to be liberated, only slightly, from his anxiety, because this play-acting metabolizes wayward libido. Wilhelm Reich realized that they were filtering data according to this model, keeping what confirmed it and discarding what contradicted it. Character analysis proceeds inductively, by releasing cathexes from superficial to profound with no pre-envisioned road map (cases are patient specific until orgastic potency is unveiled), and reveals the nature of man, which luckily for us, is good – about as good as something can be. Freud’s original Seduction Theory attributed unconscious incest ideation to mass molestation, and the theory of the Oedipus Complex reinterpreted this data as indicating an innate perversion in children, a concept very similar to Original Sin. Neither are correct, owing to extremity and lack of nuance in interpretation. My interpretation, which Guattari may have possibly said in the Geber-ish of Anti-Oedipus, is correct. Psychoanalysis, like Christianity, handicaps its own clinical effectiveness by cautiously assuming a fundamental evil, selfish nature and providing analysands with restraining narratives to soothe, describe, and compliment their unresolved neuroses. Character analysis, as its successor orgone therapy does today, united the intellect with lost somatic function by preventing the libido from animating neurotic symptoms, such as muscle armoring, thereby letting it flow back into the animation of natural, fulfilling functions, such as labor and organic bodily expressions, resolving complexes along the way, effecting true cures, meaning orgastic potency. Its analysands stayed that way because it was who they really were the whole time, and to do so is pleasurable, effortless, and naturally incentivized.
Circumcision on the Eighth Day hides the wrath-incurring potentiality from the father exactly as Moses is hidden from Pharaoh – exactly as Jesus is hidden from Herod. The Gentiles accepted Jesus, who was silent on Circumcision, as their Messiah while the whole world lay suffering, while the Massacre of the Innocents went on day after day for millennia. St. Augustine introduced Original Sin to stabilize the uncircumcised in this heresy of Judaism and give adherents something to stand against their head-strong self-centeredness. Jesus can still be the Messiah if He saves not the real world, but our pin-point souls, tautologically, from this fundamental badness introduced to replace the basis of the original Covenant. It is tautological in order to console the attacked potentiality that reluctantly submits and corrupts itself into an actuality, into a libido investment, and no longer is the subject that is its own predicate: “I AM THAT I AM” (Exodus 3:14), the “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).
It is a democratized, watered-down Salvation that saves at least the soul. You can fit billions of souls on an ark, but few bodies. The spiritual traffic in vagueness, and there are as as many interpretations of Who the Messiah is as there are churches, from the Vatican to the Agape Tabernacle in the local strip mall (and ultimately, when the Gentiles speak of the Messiah, they are speaking of who they used to be). There are as many interpretations as there are boomers who made their own psychotherapy in the post-war boom, and got to live for free and work in a fancy Gothic college by marketing only a manageable little bite of the Truth, often taken from Wilhelm Reich without credit. But true Science is not vague; it leaves nowhere to hide. There is no mistaking what it proclaims. It does not pity or flatter because it advocates for the Son and says, as Fulcanelli did, “the Gospel according to Science … teaches us that, save for a small number of the élite, we must all perish.” Even ancient, dynamic Judaism is not the ultimate system, though it is more realistic in its treatment of the Messiah concept. But its protective pessimism is no longer rational now that something equal to – nay, greater than – Circumcision has been found to satisfy its God, whose awesome Wrath began to unveil Itself to Moses, Gershom, and Zipporah at the Inn of Midian …

… for it was orgastic potency all along, obscured by the sea of scarcity and violence, ignorance and pride, that would have resolved the nearly imperceptible obstacle, only weakly indicated thitherto by our greatest spiritual systems and works of art. It would have equilibrated our libidinal economies and spared our children from the Oedipus complex, saved every failed marriage, prevented every rape and case of abuse. If we still had Dr. Reich, so much more of a Messiah than Jesus, maybe it would have given us rain and crops in the desert and free electric power – but he was put to the Cross because we prefer a Messiah who was totally neutralized, mixed with us. We have signed on with Death to trick God, humbling ourselves to exalt ourselves, but God will outsmart us. His Remnant will be gathered up and returned to Paradise, led by the Messiah assuming the types of Moses, Samson, and Jesus, but perhaps most of all Noah, for “as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:37).
